Who can submit to the Tiga Mata Issue #4
(‘Re(framing) Identity’) Open Call?

Submissions to Tiga Mata are open to anyone who takes photos (amateurs, hobbyists, professionals… anyone!) and photo-related artists from South East Asia (Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam).

Tiga Mata is a bi-annual zine published by Zontiga (The Next Level Sdn Bhd). 

Deadline has been extended to 3rd August 2025 (Sunday) – 23:59 Malaysia Time (+8 GMT)

Free. There is no entry fee for submissions.

We accept all photography related formats including film, digital, and alternative processes (cyanotype, chemigram, photography mixed media), as long as they are submitted digitally via our Tiga Mata Submission Form on Google.

We do not accept images created by AI.

We accept both single images and projects (multiple images in a series). However, please note that due to space constraints, we may not be able to publish all photos in a project and our editor will be curated the photographs.

Images should be saved using the following guide:
File format: JPG/JPEGImage
Quality: 8 – 10 (high quality)
Colour profile: sRGB
Dimensions: 3000 pixels at its widest/longest side
DPI: 240 – 300 DPI (if possible)

Please use the following naming system:
fullname.number.jpg

For example:
Bob LEE submitting 3 photos – 
boblee.01.jpg, boblee.02.jpg, boblee.03.jpg

Text files (word document or PDF) should follow this naming format (in lowercase): 

fullname.pdf

For example :  Bob LEE submitting this captions – 
boblee.pdf

Please list your file names with your images’ titles, captions and descriptions.

Each person is allowed to submit a maximum of 10 images. 

As Tiga Mata is a not-for-profit zine, we are unable to pay our photographers for use of their image(s) published. By submitting your work to Tiga Mata, you agree for us to publish your work in our zine without any monetary compensation.

All copyright is retained by the respective photographers; Tiga Mata does not claim any ownership on the images submitted. By submitting to Tiga Mata, you only give us permission to publish your work in our zine, website, social media channels and other marketing purposes relating to Tiga Mata.

No, you may only submit images taken by yourself.

 

No, we only accept images that have been captured by you and not created via prompts.
